1. Introduction & Developer Identity

Welcome to Ogma AI: Offline AI Chat LLM ("the App"). The App is developed and operated by Abhinav Kumar, operating as Apex Creators ("we," "our," or "us"). We believe privacy is a fundamental human right, and we have designed Ogma AI so you never have to trust an external cloud with your conversations, documents, or data.

This Privacy Policy outlines our data handling practices in strict compliance with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines (specifically Guideline 5.1.1 & 5.1.2), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

2. Data Collection & Processing Practices

2.1 No Account Registration or Personal Data Collection

You can use Ogma AI immediately upon installation without creating an account, registering an email address, providing a phone number, or linking an identity. We do not collect, store, or share your personal identity.

2.2 On-Device Architecture

• Conversations & Chat History: All prompts, system instructions, and generated AI responses are stored strictly in an encrypted, local SQLite database on your device.
• Documents & Attachments: When utilizing document analysis (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, TXT) or in-app vision, parsing and embedding (sqlite-vec RAG) occur 100% on your device hardware. Files are never uploaded.
• Voice & Speech: Text-to-Speech (TTS) runs fully on-device using the OS speech engine. Speech-to-Text (STT) uses Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer, which may transmit your audio to Apple servers for recognition depending on device and language support. Apple's privacy policy applies. Apex Creators never stores audio, and transcripts are stored only on your device.

2.3 Absence of Advertising & Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)

Ogma AI is 100% AD-FREE. We do not integrate advertising frameworks (e.g., AdMob, Unity Ads) and do not access or collect Advertising Identifiers (Apple IDFA / IDFV). Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, Ogma AI engages in zero cross-app and zero cross-site tracking.

2.4 Zero Cloud Telemetry & No Analytics SDKs

The iOS version of Ogma AI contains no Firebase Analytics, no Firebase Crashlytics, and no third-party telemetry SDKs. Diagnostic logs are preserved locally on your device within the App Settings for troubleshooting and are never transmitted over the network.

3. External Connections & Third-Party Privacy

The App operates completely offline once AI models are downloaded. Network connectivity is used strictly for optional features and open-source resource downloads:

Ogma AI requests only the permissions necessary for local functionality:

• Photo Library & Camera: Required only when you choose to take a photo or select an image for local vision model analysis.
• Microphone & Speech Recognition: Required only when you activate hands-free Voice Mode.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Optional subscriptions are billed directly through Apple StoreKit under Apple's standard terms. We never receive or store your credit card or financial information. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Subscriptions.

6. Data Retention, Deletion & Your Rights

• Retention: We do not operate servers that store your conversations, documents, or voice input. All chat history, RAG indexes, and settings live only in the on-device SQLite database, and are deleted whenever you uninstall the app or use the in-app "Clear Chat History" and backup-management controls.
• Deletion requests: Because we never hold your data, there is nothing on our servers to delete. To erase all app data, uninstall the app or clear data in Settings.
• Revoking consent: You may revoke optional permissions (microphone, camera, photos) at any time in iOS Settings. Optional cloud providers are enabled only by entering your own API key, which you can remove at any time in Settings.
• Your rights: Where applicable (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, UK GDPR), you have the rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Since we collect no personal data, any such request can be fully satisfied on-device as described above. Contact us at info@apexcreators.co.in and we will assist within 30 days.
• Third-party protection: When data is transmitted to optional third-party services (cloud AI providers you configure, web search, Apple speech recognition), those services provide protection equivalent to this policy under their respective published policies, linked above.
• Children: The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 under GDPR). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
