## 1. Information We Collect

### 1.1 Data Stored Locally
The App stores the following data **locally on your device only**:
- Manual city name (if you manually select a location)
- Last known GPS coordinates (cached temporarily for location-change detection to avoid unnecessary API calls)
- Cached weather data and yesterday's temperature (for offline access, fast load times, and comparison features)
- User preferences (temperature unit, language, font style, daily notification preference)
- Onboarding completion status

**This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.**

### 1.2 Weather Provider Data
We use **WeatherAPI.com** to retrieve weather forecasts. When making a request, the App sends your coordinates (latitude and longitude) or your manually-selected city name directly to WeatherAPI.com. No other personal information is shared with this provider.

- **Local Data:** Used solely to provide app functionality (weather display, daily comparison, caching, and personalized settings). Never shared externally.
- **Location Data:** Used solely to fetch accurate local weather forecasts from our Weather Provider.

## 3. Data Storage & Security

All personal preferences and cached weather data are stored locally using Android SharedPreferences on your device. Widget data is also stored locally using the Android widget framework. All network requests to third parties (WeatherAPI.com) are transmitted securely over HTTPS. We do not have access to your local data. If you uninstall the App, all local data is permanently deleted.
