Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Mini Weather ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Abhinav Kumar / Apex Creators ("Developer"). This agreement incorporates by reference Apple's Standard End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA") where applicable under Apple App Store policies.

2. Description of Service

Mini Weather is a privacy-first mobile application designed for iOS devices that provides real-time weather forecasts, air quality index data, day-over-day temperature comparisons, interactive visual widgets, and localized weather metrics.

Weather and environmental data displayed in the App are sourced from third-party services including Apple WeatherKit and WeatherAPI.com.

3. License & Intellectual Property

• Grant of License: The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Mini Weather for personal, non-commercial purposes on iOS devices that you own or control, subject to Apple's App Store Usage Rules.
• Intellectual Property Rights: All original code, visual designs, graphic interfaces, UI elements, widget layouts, and branding associated with Mini Weather are owned by Abhinav Kumar / Apex Creators and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
• Third-Party Trademarks: "Apple", "Apple Weather", "Apple WeatherKit", and "iOS" are registered trademarks of Apple Inc. "Nothing" and related design elements are registered trademarks of their respective owners.

4. Weather Data Disclaimer & Emergency Use Notice

• No Medical or Safety Guarantee: The App should not be relied upon as a sole source of information for life-critical decisions, severe weather emergencies, aviation, navigation, marine operations, or medical advice regarding UV exposure or air quality hazards.
• Accuracy Disclaimer: The Developer does not guarantee that weather information will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely timely, or 100% accurate. Atmospheric conditions change rapidly, and actual local weather may differ from forecast predictions.
• Emergency Situations: During official weather emergencies, severe storms, flash floods, or natural disasters, always consult official government meteorological agencies (such as the US National Weather Service, UK Met Office, or local emergency management authorities).

5. Location Services & Device Permissions

• Mini Weather relies on optional device Location Services to deliver localized weather forecasts.
• You may grant or revoke location access at any time through your device settings (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Mini Weather).
• If location permission is denied, weather data will be retrieved based on a city manually searched and selected by you.

6. Privacy & Data Handling

Your privacy is paramount. As detailed in our Privacy Policy:

• Mini Weather does not collect, track, store, or sell your personal data.
• The App requires no account creation, login, or registration.
• Location coordinates and search queries are processed ephemerally on-device over secure HTTPS connections solely to fetch weather data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Mini Weather is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• In no event shall the Developer (Abhinav Kumar / Apex Creators) be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the App, reliance on weather forecasts, widget updates, or third-party service interruptions.

8. Third-Party Services & Terms

Your use of Mini Weather is also governed by the terms of third-party service providers integrated into the App:

• Apple WeatherKit: Governed by Apple Privacy Policy and Apple Weather Legal Attribution Guidelines.
• Apple App Store: Subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

9. Modifications to Terms

The Developer reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time to reflect software updates or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be posted within the App or on the official website with an updated "Effective Date". Your continued use of Mini Weather following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

10. Governing Law & Contact Information

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws without regard to conflict of law principles.
